How Does A 60$ Mountain Pasture House Look Like In The Italian Aosta Valley? ?? – E11

DOUES, ITALY: The Valle d’Aosta is a fantastic area in the north of Italy in the middle of the Alps. The valley borders directly on Switzerland and France and has the highest and most beautiful mountains in Europe, Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. The valley is a wonderful destination for hikes to the peaks of the mountains or for exploring the numerous historical sites dating back to Roman times of over 2000 years ago.
This time we rented a house at 1750m altitude near the village Doues. With only approx. 60$ cost per night this was unbelievably cheap. The house has a unique view to the city of Aosta and is almost completely remote. At the same time, the house is equipped with everything one needs. Unfortunately there is no direct link but the house is the Chez Paolo in Doues (Aosta Valley).

Abandoned Mountain Pasture House In The Italian Aosta Valley ?? – E10

DOUES, ITALY: From the terrace of our house in the Valle d’Aosta we could see two abandoned houses at an altitude of 1800 m, visited by nothing but cows. The buildings in the Italian Alps appear differently than, for example, in Switzerland. This is probably because they are quite old or old techniques are still used. Typically, loose stones are stacked on top of each other with cement. The ruins now called for a small inspection to perhaps see how people lived at this height and under these conditions decades and centuries ago.

2015 Morocco – Day 12 – Merzouga / Ait Ibriren (Dades Gorge)

After breakfast we paid our bill and set off towards Dades Gorge. After careful consideration from the evening before, this was the only remaining option. To drive back on the same route would be the last option. After Fes and then further along the Atlantic back to Marrakech it didn’t promise to be very great, because Fes is possibly worse than ales Marrakech as far as the annoying people are concerned and we were of the opinion that we didn’t want to see a city that would also be similar to Marrakech. Between Fez and Marrakech there would have been nothing to see according to our information. Sure there would have been a lot to see on the route, but we had no information.

?? Review about the “Grand Hotel Tazi Marrakech”

I was once in January 2011 in the Tazi as last night in Morocco, because the Tazi is centrally located and relatively cheap. For the same reasons we wanted to stay there again. But this time we arrived by car. I had to park the car in another parking lot and we walked to the Tazi. They also had a room available, which should cost 420 Dh. We acted down to 400. The price was for two persons and without further ado. We were assigned a greasy guy to pick up the car and unload the luggage. We refused, but went with him to get the car. For the 15 minutes we had to pay there 20 Dh, or we had already paid when we left. The greasy guy planted himself on the passenger seat and opened the window to make himself comfortable.
