SARRE, ITALY: Castle Sarre has a long history dating back to the 13th century. The castle is situated on a small hill not far from the town of Aosta and overlooks the Aosta Valley. The castle was summer residence of the royal family Savoy of Italy until the middle of the 20th century. Today rooms with an authentic interior can be visited. East Point Beach, Darwin/Australia – E23 4K

DARWIN, AUSTRALIA: On the search for further sights around Darwin I drove to the East Point. East Point is a bit north of Darwin and is a long beach. The beach was completely empty despite high temperatures in water and air, which raised some questions why. I knew about the dangers of crocodiles but nevertheless it seemed quite strange to me. Later I met a woman who explained to me that nobody actually goes into the water there, because the danger from crocodiles and especially from nettle jellyfish (stingers) is too great. Unfortunately there is an excellent beach with best equipment but no possibility to swim, although the water has almost bath tub temperature.

Surrounding Of Meriton Suites In Zetland/Sydney Australia ?? – E18 4K

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Sydney is an absolutely wonderful place. This video gives a small overview of the surroundings in Zetland. Zetland has got a lot of new buildings in the last years and a lot is quite new. Besides the new buildings there are also typical older houses that remind of England. In the surroundings you can see how much work the Australians do with the design of their surroundings. Everywhere there are parks within short distances. At every corner there are plants, which are completely unknown at least for a European and either originate from tropical regions or are native plants. The parks have many amenities. There is drinking water everywhere, public barbecue areas, benches and shaded donors. Especially in summer these places are popular and are also clean and safe places to stay outside at night.

Meriton Suites Zetland Sydney Australia ?? – E17 4K

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: This video gives a small overview of Meriton Suites in Zetland in Sydney Australia. It is not really a hotel, but serviced apartments. What I have not shown here is that Meriton also has a pool in the ground floor. The Meriton is my preferred place to stay in Sydney. It is not cheap, but compared to the alternatives, especially for longer stays it is much better suited than being locked in a small hotel room.

Visiting The Ancient Castle Ruin Saint Germain In The Italian Aosta Valley ?? – E14

AOSTA VALLEY, ITALY: On a trip through the Valle d’Aosta we noticed an impressive old castle ruin on a hill. The old ruin was Saint Germain Castle. The ruin can be reached from a small parking place at an old church directly over a short but steep footpath. The ruin was surrounded by a fence, but the gate was open and we could visit it. Unfortunately there is very little to know about this ruin. The castle is said to have been abandoned since the 1660s and was probably built around the 13th century.

Hiking To The 2700m High Col De Champillon In The Italian Aosta Valley ?? – E12

DOUES, ITALY: For a hike we have chosen the Col de Champillon. The starting point of the route was only a few minutes by car above our house and situated at an altitude of approx. 2040m from the village of Doues. The start took place from a parking lot over high mountain meadows up to the mountain refuge Champillon. Then there was a very steep ascent of about 50 degrees to the end of the hike on the Col de Champillon ridge at 2700m altitude. The visit of the ridge is rewarded with a view to different peaks of the Alps, among them the Mont Blanc.
